Our system combines a solar-powered water supply plant with IoT and moving irrigators to ensure that water from the plants will not need to be manually used on the farms. Automated moving irrigators use sensors, timers and controllers to autonomously operate. This system adjusts water distribution based on soil moisture and weather conditions. More land area is covered and an even water distribution is achieved. Farmers can focus on all other aspects of their farming and have no worries about water supply for their crops. Water for the plant is sourced from natural acquifiers, detected using GIS and Data Analytics.

Smart Semi-Processing System

The semi-processing system serves as a one-stop location for harvests, providing storage and processing amenities. A collection point will be the first point of contact before sorting the produce for preservation or processing. This zone will be powered by solar energy, ensuring round-the-clock preservation of farm produce. To ensure efficiency, two major factors will be considered in locating the semi-processing zones:

Nearness to major transport routes and Nearness to farming communities and clusters.

We will leverage GIS mapping to select the best sites for these zones. This will ensure that farmers reduce post-harvest losses and the processing facility is accessible to off-takers.
